Yumiko's own workshop, Spain
In the Sierra Norte hills of Andalusia, in southern Spain, people have known how to work with their hands for a very long time. Cazalla de la Sierra is that kind of town: quiet, unhurried, with a deep understanding of what it means to make something with care, and the love to do so.
It is here, in this place and no other, that every Yumiko leotard comes to life. The same sierra light through the same windows. The same hands, the same knowledge, passed warmly between people who take pride in what they make together. In Spanish, the word "artesanía" means craft, but it encompasses something more: a life's devotion, a gift given through the work itself. That is what you are wearing.
